Haneu Haneu

Haneu Haneu is a ceramic practice by Korean-Canadian ceramist Haneu Kang, rooted in the quiet rituals of intentional living. Since 2018, each piece has been created with a sensitivity toward everyday use—objects meant not only to be held, but to guide moments of presence.

Thoughtfully considered yet open in meaning, the work moves between the maker’s experiences and the life it enters. The initial intention within the clay is only a beginning; its meaning continues to unfold with the person who lives with it.

There is a gentle invitation within each piece—to slow down, to notice, and to form a personal connection over time.
