Korean Baekja White Porcelain Tea Cup

Meet our Korean Porcelain Tea Cup, wheel thrown and handmade in Korea by ceramist Kiyong Park. The high footed tea cup pairs well with the matching teapot found here.

You may notice a few black speckles that are a natural result of iron in the clay, which add character to the tea pot.

Made of porcelain, the tea cups have a faint bluish tint, particularly when viewed in certain lighting conditions. This is a result of the glaze composition, which contains trace amounts of iron that impart a subtle blue color when fired.
