Meet our Shaker Round Box. It is a simple round-shaped wooden box with a lid crafted by bending thin slabs of Cherry wood fastened with copper rivets. The Axis shaker box maintains the simple beauty of the original shaker box and is made with a focus on size and functionality that is easy to use in modern Japanese life. 

Designed in Japan and handcrafted in Taiwan.
Has a small engraved black hallmark "It pays to live with Homestead Axcis.Inc" on the back bottom.

Please note, as with all handmade pieces, the shaker oval box is handcrafted, thus has slight individual differences that are unique to each piece, i.e. the grain, color, finish and etc. 

Also to note, a black line on cherry wood grain is typically referred to as a "gum pocket" or "mineral deposit," which are natural, small pockets of sap that were stored in the tree, appearing as dark lines or flecks within the wood grain; this is considered a normal characteristic of cherry wood and does not affect its quality or strength.
