Japanese Ceramic Plate, Rustic Brown
Meet our Japanese Ceramic Plate, Rustic Brown, handcrafted by craftsman from Izumo Kitayama Kiln (北山窯). The craftsman opened his own wood-fired kiln at the foot of the Kitayama Mountains in Izumo, Shimane, Japan in 2005. The unglazed earthy aesthetic of the plate fired in a traditional wood-fired kiln makes this a humble yet softly striking statement as a tabledecor. Pair this with Japanese Small Ceramic Bowl, Rustic Brown.
On the bottom of the plate is engraved potter's mark.
