Japanese Shigaraki Bowl, Small
Meet the Japanese Shigaraki Bowl, Small, wheel thrown and handcrafted in Shigaraki, Koka City—one of Japan’s six ancient kiln sites with over 1,260 years of pottery heritage. This bowl reflects the enduring tradition of Shigaraki-yaki, officially recognized as a Japanese traditional craft in 1976.
The bowl carries a sense of movement -- like wind brushing across water or ink setting into paper. Its layered surface, marked by spontaneous brushwork and organic textures, reflects a quiet dialogue between control and chance.
Ideal for brothy soups or for whisking matcha, the bowl offers both versatility and ease of use.
Each bowl is sold separately.
