Meet our Japanese Shigaraki Ceramic Spoon, handmade in Shigaraki town, Koka city, Shiga prefecture which is located below Lake Biwa and close to Kyoto. Shiragaki town is one of the six ancient kilns in Japan dating back 1260 years and in 1976 was designated as one of Japan's Traditional Handcrafts by the Japanese government.
