Meet the Japanese Shigaraki Ceramic Tea Cup with Circular Brushwork Detail, handcrafted in Shiga Prefecture in Japan. Located in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, Shigaraki is one of Japan's six old kilns, with a history that goes back 1260 years. In 1976, Shigaraki-yaki (Shigaraki ware) was designated as a traditional craft in Japan.

The surface is finished with a natural ash glaze, resulting in a unique texture.
