Meet our Japanese Shigaraki Chrysanthemum Plate, handcrafted by artisans belonging to a collective in Shigaraki Town, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. Located in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, Shigaraki is one of Japan's six old kilns, with a history that goes back 1260 years. In 1976, Shigaraki-yaki (Shigaraki ware) was designated as a traditional craft in Japan.
