Japanese Shigaraki Green Ceramic Matcha Bowl
Meet our Japanese Shigaraki Green Matcha Bowl, handcrafted in Shiga Prefecture in Japan. Located in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, Shigaraki is one of Japan's six old kilns, with a history that goes back 1260 years. In 1976, Shigaraki-yaki (Shigaraki ware) was designated as a traditional craft in Japan.
The bowl is perfect for whisking and drinking matcha from. The carved corner of the bottom foot makes this a unique bowl. On the bottom of the bowl is potter's mark. The bowl comes packaged in a paper box, thus perfect for gifting.
