Korean Baekja Porcelain Top Handle Tea Pot
Wheel-thrown and handcrafted in Korea by ceramist Kiyong Park , this porcelain teapot embodies the quiet purity of baekja (white porcelain). Designed with internal straining holes for tea leaves, it combines refined form with everyday functionality.
Subtle black speckles, a natural result of iron within the clay body, lend each piece a distinct, organic character. The porcelain itself reveals a faint bluish tint—visible under certain lighting—caused by trace amounts of iron in the glaze that produce a delicate hue when fired.
Pairs beautifully with the Korean Baekja Porcelain Teacups and Korean Baekja Porcelain Spouted Bowl, available separately.
