Meet the Korean Bamboo Chachik 차칙 Tea Scoop, handcrafted by studio Jukhyangdawon in Gyeongju, Korea. The tea scoop is a tool used in traditional Korean or Chinese tea ceremony to transfer loose tea leaves from tea canister into teapot. It is made of bamboo grown in Korea, and the bamboo the studio uses is baked in a kiln at 700 Celsius/1292 Fahrenheit to achieve its unique warm tone.
