Korean Buncheong Ceramic High-Footed Bowl

Meet our Korean Buncheong Ceramic High-Footed Bowl, wheel-thrown and handcrafted by a ceramist in Korea. The bowls were fired in a kiln after being dipped in white clay slip, a technique called Dumbung Buncheong (덤벙분청) which is unique to Korea, and then glazed with transparent glaze and fired in the kiln for the second time. These bowls are perfect for serving yogurt, cereal or dessert or as decor pieces.

The pottery maker's mark is located on the lower part of the foot.
