Meet our Korean Buncheong Oblong Teapot, wheel-thrown and hand-crafted by ceramist Seungki Min in Icheon, South Korea. The teapot features a gently oblong form with integrated filtering holes for a smooth, balanced pour.
The surface is brushed with white slip using the guiyal technique—an expressive method that creates bold, gestural marks and stands as one of the most characteristic decorative features of traditional Korean buncheong ware.
