Korean Ceramic Oval Pedestal
A small ceramic pedestal by Korean artist October Siwol Kim, shaped with a softly irregular, pebble-like silhouette and gently raised on short integrated feet. The low profile gives the piece a quiet architectural quality, somewhere between a functional stand and a small sculptural object.
The surface is finished in a pale, warm-toned speckled glaze, with fine dark flecks distributed throughout the clay body. Subtle variations in the outline, thickness, and surface preserve the character of the hand-making process, while the restrained palette gives the piece a natural, stone-like presence.

About October Kim: Artist Siwol October Kim offers a contemporary reinterpretation of rock formations. Sand and earth, weathered from boulders, are presented to the artisan as materials. Through human touch, wind, and fire, these elements solidify back into stone.
