Hunseong Jang

Korean Silver-Coated Chrysanthemum Ceramic Round Plate

Regular price $80.00 USD

Meet the Korean Silver coated Chrysanthemum Round Plate, wheel thrown and handcrafted by Hunseong Jang in Icheon, Korea.

This small ceramic dish is finished with a luminous silver coating that lends a quiet, contemporary elegance to its timeless form.

The surface is impressed with an all-over pattern of chrysanthemum blossoms, a motif long associated in East Asia with longevity, resilience, and the beauty of the changing seasons. The delicate relief catches the light, creating subtle shifts in tone that enhance the silvered finish while emphasizing the hand-worked texture beneath.

Perfect for serving small confections, condiments, or as a resting place for jewelry or incense, this versatile piece brings together traditional Korean craftsmanship and modern refinement. Slight variations in the silver coating and impressed pattern make each dish uniquely its own.

Dimensions: approx. Ø 2.75" x H .5"

Please note: The two accompanying small plates featured in the second image will be available for purchase soon

Also to note, silver naturally tarnishes over time. Clean as needed with a silver-cleaning solution or a gentle paste of baking soda and water. Avoid abrasive scrubbing, which may scratch or damage the silver finish.
