Korean Wood-fired Porcelain Dotted Spouted Pouring Vessel with Handle

Regular price $175.00 USD

A Korean wood-fired spouted pouring vessel by Kimo An of Tousanyo, featuring a playful arrangement of dots created using the traditional Korean sanggam (상감) inlay technique.

Each dot is individually inlaid into the clay body, creating softly irregular markings in earthy shades of brown and olive against the warm ivory surface. Rather than appearing perfectly uniform, the dots vary subtly in tone and shape, giving the vessel a rhythmic, hand-drawn quality.

The tall, gently tapered form is finished with pt a small pinched spout and elongated loop handle, balancing utility with an understated sculptural presence. Wood firing introduces further variation to the surface, leaving delicate speckling, tonal shifts, and traces of the firing process that make each piece unique.

Rooted in a centuries-old Korean decorative tradition, the sanggam detailing feels distinctly contemporary here: simple, spontaneous, and quietly playful.

Handcrafted and wood-fired in Korea by Kimo An of Tousanyo.

Dimensions: W 2.4" x L 4.25" (spout to the handle) x H 4"
