Korean Wood-fired Tea Scoop
Meet the Korean Wood-fired Tea Scoop, handcrafted and fired in a wood-firing kiln by Kimo An of Tousanyo in Gimhae, South Korea.
Earthy and sculptural, this piece features a richly textured body in dark and light brown tones, accented by a glossy surface. Natural ash splattering from the wood firing adds depth and character to the form. The warmth and presence achieved through this firing process bring a grounded, tactile quality to the tea ritual, while allowing the scoop to stand beautifully on its own as a sculptural object.
Potter's mark is hand-carved on the bottom of the scoop.
Dimensions: W 3.25" x L 5"
