Korean Wood-firing Kiln Ceramic Sabal Tea Bowl
Meet our Korean Ceramic Sabal Tea Bowl, wheel-thrown by ceramist Byung Yeoul Kim in Korea. The bowl was fired in a traditional wood kiln in Korea. It is perfect for carrying out a proper tea-drinking ritual. The earthy, rough texture of the surface adds to the tactile experience of matcha drinking.
There is potter's mark on the lower part near the foot of the bowl.
Due to the nature of the rough-textured clay used for these handmade pieces, there may be miniscule hollow spots that are intrinsic to each piece.
Dimensions: approx. 5.75'' ⌀ x 3'' H; holds 650ml
Glazed ceramic. Lead-free and food-safe.
Made in Korea.
