Toyo Sasaki Glass Orbit Plate, 2 Sizes

Meet the Japanese Glass Orbit Plate available in 2 sizes, handcrafted by artisans of Toyo Sasaki based in the city of Yachiyo in the northwest part of Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The plate is a unique piece with varying rim widths.

Each plate is sold separately and comes packaged in a branded box.

Kindly note, due to the handmade nature, you may notice small air bubbles and lines within the glass. The tiny bubbles are called "seeds" and formed by gas released during the melting of the raw glass ingredients. The lines called "cords" or "stretch marks" and are subtle differences in the glass's density that occur during the melting and shaping process. They are all considered a normal characteristic of the glassblowing process and are not considered defects.
