Travel edition: Danish Sculptural Six-Petal Bowl
Meet the hand-built ceramic bowl with a sculptural six-petal form, finished in a variegated ivory glaze with iron-rich speckling and deep umber pooling along the rim. The interior surface is carved with delicate vein-like textures that echo the structure of unfolding flower petals, giving the piece both botanical softness and architectural depth.
Balancing ornament with utility, the bowl sits between functional vessel and ceramic sculpture. Its irregular silhouette and layered glaze movement emphasize the material spontaneity of the firing process, while the petal-shaped walls create shifting shadows and tactile contour from every angle.
Suitable for small servings, salt, incense, jewelry, or display, each piece is individually formed and glazed by hand, resulting in subtle variations in texture, tone, and expression. A quiet study in organic form, surface, and gesture by Martine.
Dimensions: W 7" x L 7" x H 3.25"
On the bottom of the bowl is carved with potter's mark.
Handcrafted in Copenhagen.
